Mixing and mastering

So you already have your song recorded. Now what’s next? No matter if you recorded your song here at Rhythm x Records, at another studio, or even at home, we have you covered! It is now time to have your song mixed & mastered to compete with other records in the music industry. Using state of the art analog gear, digital plugins, high definition speakers, and a plethora of acquired techniques, Rhythm x Records is dedicated to have your music sounding just better than you would ever image! Some say a mix either make or break a song, and we are firm believers in that statement. So, why not let the professionals handle it? You deserve nothing short of greatness and we will stop at nothing to ensure that happens!

is smoking allowed in the studio?

No. We have a wide variety of clientele, ranging from children to adults, in which many individuals have health conditions that prohibit them from being able to be around smoke. In regards to the smell and general cleanliness of the act, it is best that we do not allow smoking so that everyone has an equal opportunity to work with us and not have to worry about coming in contact with it at all. Smoke is not good for the internals of the equipment at all, and can ultimately cause damage overtime. We want everyone to feel comfortable at our facility. Please respect our decision, as you are welcomed to step outside to handle your business at your leisure. There will be no exceptions.

CAN I BRING OTHER PEOPLE TO MY SESSION?

Yes. We do not mind you bringing other individuals to the session, however, we do ask that they are not obsessively loud or being a disturbance to the workflow or anyone else inside the building. Allowing too many people inside is never a good idea, and in most cases turns into a distraction. We want to ensure the safety of our staff as well as everyone else inside, so we do ask that you bring as few individuals along as possible.

CAN i bring a photographer or videographer to my session?

Yes. We always push for artists to increase their social media presence by doing photoshoots in studio as well as vlogs and things of that nature, so filming is allowed. We do ask that any and all personnel that you bring are abiding by our policies and not being a distraction. You will be held responsible for any and all guests that you bring in. Your guest is a representation of you, so please choose whomever accordingly.

Do You have a physical vocal booth?

Yes. We have a state-of-the-art isolation booth available for everyone to record their vocals in. Sonic quality is at the peak of our importance, so our vocal booth is located away from the mixing room. This is to ensure that no feedback is entering the vocal booth so that we are capturing your voices in the most pure form possible.

CAN i bring food to my session?

Yes. Food is always allowed in the studio. However, please be mindful to not leave any crumbs or containers behind before you depart.

Can i bring hookah to my session?

Yes. Hookah is always allowed in the studio. However, please be mindful to not leave any trash or residue behind before you depart.

Can i bring Alcohol to my session?

Yes. Alcohol is always allowed in the studio. However, please be mindful to not leave any bottles or cups behind before you depart.

How Do We Credit You?

Credits are greatly appreciated, as they help expand our reach in the music industry! Credits would be dependent on which job you are looking for, however, these would typically fall under either “Songwriter” “Executive Producer” or “Mixing Engineer”. The name to place them under would be “Ayjante James Garry” for either of these services based on the work provided.

Common Courtesy Policy

*PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE BOOKING*

ALL RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED AND THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS

The studio is not a playground. Constantly running in and out is not allowed at all. To ensure the safety of everyone, we ask that all individuals report to their designated rooms and stay there unless absolutely necessary. If for any reason there are any unfortunate events that occur due to coming in and out of the studio, you will be fully responsible for any and all consequences that follow. There are no exceptions.

Please be mindful that your session begins at the time that you booked for, not the time you arrive. We are not responsible for accommodating makeup time for late arrivals unless a delay is caused by the staff. In the case of staff delay, you will be accommodated accordingly. There are no exceptions.

Please be mindful of the time. Staying over your scheduled session time is not allowed at all. We always have a full daily schedule and do not have the flexibility to run sessions into the next. It is very inconsiderate to overstay your time and creates problems for the rest of our customers. All violators will be either charged a fee and other penalties can apply. There are no exceptions.

The last 15 minutes of the session is used for file transfer and cleaning. We do not want anyone to leave important items in the studio for any reason, so we take the time to ensure all belongings are with their rightful owner before exiting. This is also to ensure that the sessions do not run into each other out of respect for the next client. There are no exceptions

Please refrain from standing over the engineer. It is unsafe to both parties to hover over an individual while they are working. To ensure our safety and health, we ask that you please have a seat unless absolutely necessary. There are no exceptions.

Please refrain from talking while mixing is in progress. It is a distraction to the engineer as we cannot preform at our peak with competing noise interference.

We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Please ensure that you have all phones, wallets, keys, hard drives, etc before exiting the facility. Anything left behind is not the responsibility of the studio nor of the next client. There are no exceptions.

All phone calls are to be taken outside of the studio. Phone conversations are extremely disruptive to creativity. To ensure that everyone is able to preform their tasks as adequately as possible, we ask that you take all phone calls out into the other room.

There are absolutely no guns, drugs, weapons, etc allowed in the studio. The safety of our staff and clientele is our biggest priory. There are no exceptions.

If in the event that you do not use all of the time that you booked for, you will not be able to transfer that remaining time to another day. There are no exceptions.

We do not turn over session projects. Instead, We always are open to providing all clients WAV Stems A.K.A. “Masters” to their projects per request for future mixing, or even for your own backup at the end of the session. This is highly recommended to be at ease knowing you have a copy just in case something ever goes wrong to where you would need them. If this is not done during the scheduled session time, we do provide them at an additional charge per request.
